How to choose the right flights

Darts flights are a very important part of the dart as they are what will help the dart to fly through the air. There are many different flight shapes, thicknesses and materials to choose from and they will all make a difference in the trajectory of your dart and how it behaves in flight.

The weight of a darts flight is measured in microns, with most flights coming in 75, 100 or 150 microns. A 100 micron flight is the preferred choice for most players as this weight of flight can make a dart travel flatter in the air, as they offer slightly more resistance than a 75 micron flight. If you throw with a lot of force, opting for a 150 micron flight may work best for you as the slightly heavier flight weight can slow down how quickly your dart flies through the air.
